The home is situated in a quiet cul de sac off Highway 9, and slightly south of the Blue River Neighborhood. Easy 12 minute drive from Main Street Breckenridge!

Guest Access

Access the house via a digital keypad on the front door and/or garage door. No need to pick-up keys at a rental office — just drive up, settle in, and start your vacation! The door code will be sent to you via email, one hour prior to check-in time. Access codes will be sent one hour prior to check in time of 4pm.

The home is a quick 12 min drive North (6.9 miles) to Main Street Breckenridge. Winter traffic may alter the time to get to Main street and gondola. Other top areas of interest! Isak the Troll - 6.9 miles Peak 8/Breck Connect Gondola- 7.8 miles to parking Peak 9 - 7.5 miles McCullough Gulch Trailhead- 4 miles Breckenridge Recreation Center- 8.5 miles Frisco Adventure Park - 15.3 miles *Winter- November through May* In the winter months, December through May, it is imperative for this neighborhood and throughout Breckenridge and Summit County that your vehicle be equipped with 4WD or AWD, snow tires or mud/snow tires (M+S) with minimum 3/16 inch tread, functioning defrosts (front and back), sturdy ice scraper and snow brush, windshield fluid rated for 0 degrees F or colder, shovel, gloves, boots and other winter clothing. In the Quandary neighborhood, contracted snow plow service clears snow on a regular basis (unpaved but graded gravel road). We have a contracted service for our driveway clearing every time 4 inches of snow accumulates.

This place was incredible. Exactly as advertised. Impeccably clean. Wonderful for a week in the mountains with our girls who called the place House Awesome Sauce. Beautiful view of Mt. Quandary and very close to some excellent hiking trails. Far enough away from Breck that it’s quiet and peaceful but close enough to run to town when needed. 10/10 would recommend.

Our girls retreat at Breck Haus was absolutely magical. From the moment we arrived, we felt truly welcomed with fresh flowers, a lovely handwritten note, a basket of snacks (including a gourmet s’mores tackle box!), and thoughtful check-ins during our stay. Not to mention, being greeted by a baby moose! The modern A-frame is stunning – set in the heart of the mountains with views that take your breath away. We spent most of our time catching up and relaxing on the deck, soaking in the hot tub, and stargazing under skies so clear we saw the Milky Way! Inside, everything was immaculate. The most well-stocked kitchen we've ever seen, comfy beds, tons of fluffy towels, easy check in/check out, and every amenity you can imagine. The Breck Haus app for the house guide was a genius touch. This stay reminded us how healing nature can be. We left rested, inspired, and deeply grateful. Kristine and Oliver – thank you for your hospitality...you've truly set the gold standard for getaways!

The A-frame, Breckhaus, was even more perfect in person than the pictures. We walked into the smell of clean and everything was spotless. The kitchen was a delight to work in with every amenity you could need. The beds were extremely comfortable. The view from the deck is unreal, like a private view of your own mountain and the hot tub was such a treat and easy to use. Instructions were clear which allowed us to just focus on having fun. So many fun touches like a working record player, firepit, and a Nespresso machine. One of the top 3 Airbnb’s we have stayed at. If you are on the fence, trust me you won’t regret booking here.

The home was absolutely beautiful, even better than the pictures. The location was perfect, with stunning mountain views and wildlife sightings right from the deck. The rooms were spotless, and they truly thought of everything when it came to the kitchen and common areas. Our kids had a blast, and Kristine was an outstanding host. She was responsive, thoughtful, and a pleasure to work with. We would absolutely stay here again.

I’ll chime in with the rest of the reviews. I’ve stayed all over the world probably hundreds of Airbnb‘s. This is top three maybe top two. My family and I sincerely enjoyed our entire time! The amenities, games, view, architecture, books, Cooking supplies/cookware…a dream. We will be back. We were 10 minutes from downtown Breckenridge, but honestly had trouble dragging ourselves out of this place to go to the shops and restaurants ha ha. That says a lot.

Words will not do justice to this amazing property. The home is in perfect condition and the views from the expansive windows are amazing including a personal visit from the local resident moose. Kristine has thought of everything including so many little details that were enjoyed by all - from the Smores kit to enjoy by the firepit to a modern phonograph with a variety of our favorite artists on vinyl. Hoping we didn't wear out the Beastie Boys albums !! We have had the privilege to stay in homes around the world and this property is truly world class in every way. Close to everything and yet located in a very private setting. Anybody planning a visit to Breckenridge who is lucky enough to find a vacancy at Breckhouse A Frame will not be disappointed !!

An amazing place with tremendous attention to details to make your stay incredible. We had a last minute trip to Breck and really lucked out finding this place. Hosts were awesome with proactive welcoming and checking in to make sure our stay was enjoyable. Loved every bit and even met the local fox which greeted us upon arrival. We have rented dozens of homes and this is a top favorite by far. Hope to come back next year! Thank you Kristine and Oliver! You thought of everything, great work!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this cabin! We were blown away by the beautiful surroundings and the attention to detail that made this place feel like a true home away from home. The cabin itself was spotless, beautifully decorated, and fully stocked with everything we needed. The living areas were warm and inviting with a cozy fireplace. One of the highlights was the outdoor space, whether watching the snow fall or relaxing in the hot tub under the stars or enjoying roasting smores by the fire pit, every moment was amazing. The location was perfect; secluded enough for peace and privacy but still close to town and local attractions. Our hosts were exceptional—responsive, thoughtful, and clearly dedicated to making guests feel welcome. The little touches, like a welcome note, made our stay even more memorable. We would absolutely stay here again and cannot help but think of all the touches we would take from Kristine’s home in building a cabin of our own in the future
